I offer a supportive therapeutic service based on tried and tested methods. By combining a variety of techniques including Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) with hypnotherapy which is called Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) I can treat a variety of conditions including anxiety, depressive symptoms, phobias, low self esteem and weight loss for life (hypnodieting). I use a creative application of techniques where I am socializing my clients to relate to their world, understanding that it is not the events that are affecting us but the way we think about them.

I believe passionately in learning, it’s one of the things that keeps us alive ultimately I want all my clients to become their ‘own therapist’. After all you are the expert on you and deep down know the solutions that will work for you on your continuing journey of self discovery. The model I adopt includes educating, learning, coaching, facilitating and empowering.

My approach to CBH is based on experimental research where you do not have to go back to the past we are going to focus on the here and now.

Recognised by the British Medical Association, the American Medical Association and the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) hypnotherapy is a safe, powerful and effective alternative to help a wide range of concerns. The British Medical Journal in their clinical review concluded that evidence for the effectiveness of hypnotherapy is particularly strong in relation to three conditions: pain, anxiety and insomnia.

The Way I Work

During your first session we will agree your goals and treatment plan.

My approach is informal, relaxed and client centred.

With clients I can use a fusion of coaching and positive psychological techniques which can include: Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Energy Psychology (EFT), Mindfulness and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). I have successfully helped many adults and children overcome all kinds of emotional and physical conditions to be able to flourish in their life.
